We all know that DC’s latest entry into their film series, Suicide Squad was somewhat….lacking, but Warner Brothers are looking to amend that by releasing an Extended Edition, similar to what they have previously done with Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. One of the things rumored to have suffered a substantial cut was the screentime of Jared Leto’s Joker. So it’s should come as no surprise that the latest trailer for the home media release includes unseen footage of The Clown Prince of Crime. Read on to find out more.
It has already been confirmed that the extended cut will feature an extra 11 Minutes of footage, with much of it expected to be of Jared Leto’s Joker. You can check out a list of what we hope to see here and you can check out the new trailer for the extended cut below.
Many fans are hoping that this extended cut will be the much sleeker film that we were promised in the films trailers. The initial trailers themselves featured many scenes and jokes that weren’t present in the final cut, possibly due to the rumoured issues during the editing process.
Check out the trailer below:
It feels good to be bad…Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?
The Suicide Squad Extented Edition is expected to hit home media November 28th.
