Given the excitement surrounding Ben Affleck’s upcoming Batman Solo Film, you would have thought that Warner Brother’s would have locked in a date for when we could expect it. Well now we may know at least when we can expect the film to begin shooting, thanks to one of the film’s main cast. Read on to find out more.

When questioned by ETOnline in regards to a recent health scare, Magic Mike actor Joe Manganiello who is set to play Deathstroke in The Batman responded:

“Great, man, just getting ready to go shoot Batman in the spring.”

With filming set to take place as early as spring, we could possibly be expecting to see the film as early as 2018, which is has long been rumored in the past. In the meantime however, this means we can be looking to expect casting announcements and details in the coming months.

We can next see Ben Affleck’s Dark Knight (and possibly Maganiello as Deathstroke) in next years Justice League, set to hit screens November 17th.
