With New York Comic Con going on, there’s been no shortage of new announcements and trailers to enjoy. This is especially true for Marvel, as one of the executives at Marvel Television has given us a wonderful hint:
A crossover between Agents of SHIELD and one of their Netflix series.
After the Agents of SHIELD panel concluded, Marvel TV Head Jeph Loeb was asked when SHIELD would notice all of the vigilante action in Hell’s Kitchen. His answer?
“Fair question. The answer is…stay tuned.”
This is just fuel to the fire that fans have started after demanding to see the shows connected. And it seems likelier than ever now that Ghost Rider will be spreading hellfire in Agents of SHIELD season 4, indicating a much darker storyline.
This also would fit in with rumors about Jon Bernthal’s Punisher playing a role in Agents of SHIELD, something that’s been hinted by Jeph Loeb many times.
It looks like we’ll find out as we move further into the season.
Agents of SHIELD airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC. The Punisher series will debut on Netflix sometime next year.
