This just in: people are assholes. Some of the worst among them are paparazzi, both professional and amateur, and the vulturous dickbags who think they’re entitled to get in someone’s personal space, and that the person owes them time and conversation and pictures and autographs, simply because that person happens to be famous.
News flash, losers – there is a bubble. You are in the bubble. Back the fuck up.
Chris Pratt, our very own Star-Lord, is one of the nicest people in Hollywood. He regularly visits children in hospitals, raises money for charities, and is amazingly patient with the random strangers who swarm him like mosquitoes. Most of them tend to be reasonably decent – they want a picture or an autograph, and then they let him be.
And then there’s this bellend. Poor Pratt had signed enough autographs to give himself instant carpal tunnel, and was trying to squeeze his way into his car, with no cooperation whatsoever from the life-sucking leeches surrounding him. But he finally made it in, and rolled down the window to bid his fans farewell. Infinite patience, right? And this jackwagon has the nerve to call him a selfish asshole:
Yeah, no. Even a nice guy has to stand up for himself. Pratt was quick to point out the loser’s hypocrisy. “You’re cussing me out? You’ve got a cross on your chest, and you’re cussing me out?” He promptly raised his window and sped away from the throng.
I’ll never understand why people think it’s ok to treat a complete stranger like this, just because you’ve seen his face on your TV. He’s still a person. And if you act like this around him, then you’re still an asshole.
