Jimmy Kimmel’s “Celebrities Read Mean Tweets” is one of his most popular segments. The late-night host searches Twitter for nasty, hateful tweets about famous people, then has those very same famous people read them on camera.
Simple as it may sound, it’s usually comedy gold. And this round is no exception. The list of stars taking shots includes Hugh Grant, Kate Hudson, Greg Kinnear, Chris Evans, Melissa McCarthy, Jane Lynch, Norman Reedus, Margot Robbie, Anthony Mackie, Judd Apatow, Olivia Wilde, Paul Rudd, Ryan Gosling, Zac Efron, Wanda Sykes, Russell Crowe, Bryan Cranston, Kiefer Sutherland, and George Clooney.
The insults range from mild to bloody awful, but it’s the stars’ reactions that are the funniest part. (Cranston’s is absolute GOLD. He wins all of the everything.)
