While we wait (and wait, and wait, and w…a…i…t…) for Marvel Studios to acquire the rights to make a solo Hulk film, there’s a new animated one on the way to tide you over.
Following Hulk vs Wolverine, Hulk vs Thor, and Planet Hulk, next up is Hulk: Where Monsters Dwell. It will be screened at New York Comic-Con on October 9th. The film follows Hulk, Doctor Strange, and the Howling Commandos as they try to stop Nightmare from taking over the world.
And that’s not all the NYCC excitement on the way. The cast of Netflix’s Iron Fist will be present for a meet-and-greet; the first two episodes from season 4 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. – including the first appearance of Ghost Rider – will be screened for the audience; other animated works, including Guardians of the Galaxy and Spider-Man vs the Sinister Six, will be viewed and discussed; and a sneak peek at the upcoming FX Network show Legion will be shown.
Here’s what Head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb had to say:
Fans are going to love the sneak peaks of our newest shows that we have lined up for New York Comic Con. With a first look at Marvel’s Iron Fist and a new episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., we want to blow you away with the exclusive Marvel content at this year’s Show.”
