Captain America: Civil War is the highest grossing movie of 2016 so far. It was also one of the more favored summer blockbusters compared to other comic book movies. Civil War was action packed and an all around fun movie for fans every where but there was two heroes that stood out immensely during the airport fight scene, and they’re both bugs. I know everyone guessed the first one – Spider-Man. Duh. But the second one kind of caught everyone sideways – Ant-Man.
Before Civil War, Ant-Man was received with mostly positive reviews by both critics and audiences combined, but it left a lot of fans wanting more – specifically me. Don’t get me wrong, Paul Rudd is a great actor, but the movie left grabbing at straws.
Seeing the throw down at the airport and Scott Lang turning into Giant-Man was truly amazing.
It turns out Scott Lang wasn’t always a Cap enthusiast, however. None other than the Andy Park dropped some early on concept art to his Twitter page early yesterday morning:

Obviously, this is not the route they took and good thing. You can’t stack all the cheeky buggers (pun definitely intended) onto one team and expect great chemistry. I think fans were happy with decisions the company made. Especially when needing something to weigh out the moody Winter soldier.
This painting is the latest piece of concept art in a series released by Park through Twitter. Another well known piece is Ant-Man being launched by Haweye’s arrow into Iron Man’s armor and rip it up from the inside, which all made for awesome cinematic magic.
