At this stage in the Marvel universe, one hero showing up in another’s film isn’t entirely unexpected – but at the same time it always so gratifying to see. Well it sounds like we may be seeing an important member of The Avengers show up in Marvel’s next film, Doctor Strange.
The Angry Ginger has taken to his Twitter page to drop the scoop that none other than Iron Man himself, Tony Stark will be making a surprise appearance alongside Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sorcerer Supreme in the upcoming film.

Given how Tony Stark and his Avengers (Well, him and the only other Avenger left on his team) currently operate out of New York which also happens to be the residence of Stephen Strange, it is entirely likely that the two could cross paths at some point.
Rumors of a surprise cameo being added has hit the net after, Wong actor Benedict Wong revealed that the film wrapped yesterday on the 15th. However, as MCUExchange noted, this was four months after the date that the film’s director claimed that filming had wrapped which was way back on April 3rd.
Seeing as how the results of Captain America: Civil War have left The Avengers as more of a Dynamic Duo than a fully fledged team, it would make sense that Stark would be looking to replenish the ranks.
At the very least we will hopefully see this panel in live action:
Naturally, this is all a rumor at this point, so we likely won’t find out whether The Armored Avenger will make an appearance until Doctor Strange hits theaters November 4th.
What do you think? Would you like to see Stark make an appearance? Are there any other characters you would prefer? Let us know below!
