Although the majority of Suicide Squad features villains from the Batman mythos, one is notorious for battling The Flash. Captain Boomerang, played by Jai Courtney, has caused much speculation regarding whether or not we could expect to see The Flash in Suicide Squad.
Well, it seems that may just be the case. The final Suicide Squad trailer displays a sequence which has Captain Boomerang robbing the bank. Fans were able to analyze this sequence and compare it to scenes with The Flash from Justice League’s Comic-Con trailer. Both feature a unique lightning pattern created by The Flash’s incredibly fast speeds in the Justice League trailer. Perhaps that’s the cause of it in Suicide Squad?
Here’s the plot for the film below:
Intelligence officer Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) decides to assemble a team of dangerous, incarcerated supervillains for a top-secret mission. Figuring it has nothing to lose, the U.S. government supplies weapons to Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney) and other despicable inmates. Dubbed the Suicide Squad, the united criminals must defeat a mysterious and powerful entity while contending with the antics of the diabolical Joker (Jared Leto).
Suicide Squad hits theaters August 5, 2016.
