It’s been rumored for a while now that Batman actor Ben Affleck would be working on both sides of the camera for his upcoming solo film, but it has finally been confirmed at this year’s San Diego Comic Con.
As part of the Warner Brothers panel in Hall H, the directors of the upcoming DC film’s came out on stage to the crowd. This included Justice League director Zack Snyder, Suicide Squad director David Ayer, Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins, Aquaman director James Wan, director of The Flash, Rick Famuyiwa and finally Ben Affleck who was later confirmed to be directing the upcoming Batman solo film.
Speaking about the film, Affleck explained that the only thing close to directing Batman is Doing a great play that has been done many times before before going on to add that he believes Batman to be one of the greatest characters in American drama.
