Marvel fans got their first look at the new Iron Fist show last night at Comic-Con during the Luke Cage panel.
Joe Quesada, Marvel’s CCO, spoke about the show with IGN during a livestream. He had to say this about how it’ll be breaking a few Marvel records:
“I would say that Iron Fist has probably more villains in our first season than any of our other shows.”
He also stated that showrunner Scott Buck and the other Iron Fist writers are working in “great legends from Marvel’s past and present.”
Except more information from Iron Fist as we get closer to its 2017 premier date on Netflix, while Luke Cage comes to Netflix September 30, 2016. The plot for Iron Fist is below:
In Marvel’s Iron Fist, Danny Rand returns to New York City after being missing for years, trying to reconnect with his past and his family legacy. He fights against the criminal element corrupting his world around him with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.
