Wizard World Philadelphia had reporter Brandon Davis talk on-site with Chris Evans (Captain America), Sebastian Stan (Bucky) and Anthony Mackie (Falcon) from Captain America: Civil War. And it seems the actors themselves have some shared feelings with the fans on a future collaboration with the X-Men.
It all started when the question of an Infinity War wishlist was brought up, and Stan brought up the topic of some certain M-words Marvel has yet to use:
Looks like it’s time to get back some of those X-Men. Mystique. We need that Mystique.”
Evans had his bets placed on two specific X-Men actors:
I’d love to work with Fassbender because he’s Fassbender. Him and McAvoy, one of those guys would be great to work with.”
Mackie had his own world in mind, with him uttering the actress for Storm multiple times:
Halle Berry.”
Of course when the point reached the pinnacle with Deadpool being mentioned, there was quite the reaction. You can check out the clip below:
The X-Men films have been doing critically well with their past few movies, so Fox may not budge them too soon to Marvel. However, if Marvel managed to share Spider-man with Sony, we may eventually see Avengers and mutants in the same cinematic screen…with Deadpool making a 4th wall joke about the companies having to hold hands, of course.
X-Men: Apocalypse and Captain America: Civil War are out in theaters now.
Do you feel the X-Men universe should unite with Marvel’s, or are they better off untouched? Let us know in the comments below!
