Famed actor Michael B Jordan (Creed, Chronicle, The Wire) has reportedly signed on to be part of Marvel’s Black Panther film. Negotiations are also taking place with Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave, The Force Awakens) to also star alongside.
As of this moment, Jordan’s role for the film is still unknown, but one source reports the character will be a villain. No reply has been made by Marvel regarding this.
Jordan was also involved in 20th Century Fox’s other infamous Marvel property, that being the 2015 remake of Fantastic Four. We recommend not seeing it, but if Jordan has proven anything is that his acting chops made up immediately that year with the Rocky spin-off Creed, whose director Ryan Coogler will be reuniting with in the Black Panther project.
Black Panther is slated for a July 2018 release, but you can witness Black Panther’s debut in Captain America: Civil War out now.
