We’ve recently learned that Steppenwolf will be the main villain in Justice League: Part One, thanks to the guys at Birth.Movies.Death. He is set to appear in the second half of the movie whereas Darkseid’s presence is felt throughout before his big reveal at the end. We’ve been told not to expect much, however a new rumour has recently surfaced across the internet which seems to shed some more light on Darkseid’s role and the overall plot.

Warning Potential Spoilers Ahead!

According to Heroic Hollywood,  Darkseid is seen at the beginning of the movie through a flashback which consists of the Amazonians, the Atlanteans and Man successfully defeating him on Earth 30,000 years ago. Leaving behind three motherboxes, Steppenwolf aims to secure all three which is alluded to in one of the deleted scenes in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

With Justice League: Part One set to hit theaters November 17th 2017, fans won’t have to wait long to see the iconic heroes grace the silver screen.
