Once a beloved indie film writer/director, Kevin Smith has seemed to become the Larry King of the fanboy generation. His two-cents worth (‘cuz really, no matter how great they are, that’s all his flicks seem to make) on Batman v Superman, surprisingly, with his best friend playing his favorite superhero, was very critical.
This time, Smith had some words on the competition. And evidently, he enjoyed Marvel’s take on the titan-grudge-match much better:

“Best Spidey flick too,” he said. Well I sure hope so. As my favorite superhero, I hope they get him right this time.
Us common-folk here in the states can catch the flick next week on May 6th, where Tom Holland will play the MCU version of the web-slinger.
