As the DC line-up of films have taken a steady plan, the preparation for The Flash starring Erza Miller seems to have already taken a head start. HeroicHollywood has reports of rumored character casting for the upcoming Flash film, sent to multiple talent agencies.

The list has revealed 5 characters so far:

Iris West

Described as ” Christiane Amanpour’s brains and Carrie Bradshaw’s style”. She is still present as a reporter for the Central City Citizen and several actresses in the Los Angeles area are already taking testings for the role.

Eobard Thawne

Mentioned as the notes as “Central City’s Bill Gates”, and of course, the future Reverse Flash. The kicker here, however, is Thawne may be confined in a wheelchair because of a “degenerative disease”. The premise of the wheelchair was actually first introduced into the TV series, which has us question how close to the actual television series this might be.

Fred Chyre

A “gruff detective” who is investigating a case at Thawne Laboratories regarding a death.

Len Snart

The future Captain Cold, will be portrayed as an ex-military operative under Thawne.

Jay Garrick

Labeled as a cameo appearance, he is depicted as “a Central University professor fired for fringe science and study of the speed force”.

As we take a look at the list, keep in mind there is an emphasis on “rumor”, as Umberto Gonzalez himself mentioned it sound all too familiar to the casting breakdown of the televised CW series based on the Speedster, most notably the first season.

The Flash is planned for a March 2018 release.
