With Marvels upcoming Captain America: Civil War right around the corner, Entertainment Weekly has released a collection of images from the film, one of which gives us our first look at Daniel Brühl as the films villain, Baron Helmut Zemo. Be warned though as fans of the comics may be surprised.
The image shows Brühl in character as Zemo, although fans will be quick notice that he appears to have ditched his classic purple mask and costume in favor of a suit and spectacles. It has previously been reported that character wouldn’t be in his comic get-up but director Joe Russo did reveal ‘He’s still similar to what you know of Zemo, a revenge character.’ So at least the character will be inspired by his comic book persona.
Civil War is a remake of Up in the Air, with Zemo offering the Avengers generous severance. https://t.co/sMNA3COr39 pic.twitter.com/MMSIuUr3R9

Along with the Zemo debut, the images which you can see below, also gave us a new look at Team Cap ready for battle, Chadwick Boseman’s prince T’Challa looking awfully Regal, Anthony Mackie shielding himself as Sam Wilson AKA The Falcon and The Avengers looking to be in a serious meeting.
We’ll be given some context to these pictures plus confirmation as to whether Zemo will suit up when the film is released May 6th.
