Bloodline is one those slow burn type shows that keep you on the edge of your seat and ended the first season with a well deserved pay off. Now a premiere date is set for May 27th and images of the second season have hit online along with a synopsis of what’s to come of the upcoming new ten episodes.

Still interested? Good.
First plot synopsis reads:
Season 2 begins with the Rayburn family struggling to conceal their unthinkable crime. Mysterious strangers from Danny’s past arrive with a dangerous agenda. Law enforcement is closing in on the truth behind Danny’s murder. And the tight-knit family’s once harmonious relationship is poisoned by paranoia and mistrust as it slowly begins to unravel. Lies mount. Alliances are betrayed. Relationships are destroyed. With their backs against the wall, good people may have to do some very bad things…
Executive producer of Bloodline, Glenn Kessler spoke with TV Line and confirmed that Ben Mendelsohn would turn as the Rayburn’s black-sheep son, Danny.
Glenn Kessler goes on to say:
“The DNA of the show is such that the past is always with us. We’re going to learn more about Danny’s effect on the family and more about his past, and also what his effects are in the present day. There’s a very important story that we’re interested in telling that includes [Danny].”
Given to happen to Danny in the show, he would return in flashbacks that are a staple in the shows storytelling.
