So far the majority of the heroes in the marvel universe have been American, African Princes and Asgardian Deitys notwithstanding. But now it sounds as though we may see some heroes emerge from the other side of the pond.
A tweet from poster artist, Ciara McAvoy seemingly reveals that we may soon be seeing Brian Braddock AKA Captain Britain grace our screens. The tweet, which you can see below also gives us a potential look at the characters costume in all it’s Britishness.

The artist then went on to reveal when we may be seeing the show
@_Wobs It might take a while before the announcement (either early 2017 or late 2016) They're making a sizzle reel and it's gonna be awesome

Whether the show will be a British or American production remains to be seen, but it’s certainly interesting to see the MCU world starting to get a little bit bigger.
The character was created by X-Men legend Chris Claremont and in recent years also became an Avenger in his own right. Let’s hope we someday see the two captains fighting side by side. The characters recent involvement with the British government group MI13 would make a good basis for a show.
What do you think? Are you excited to see some British Marvel? Who would you choose to play the character? Let us know below!
