Like DREDD, fans have been very vocal about their support for a 3rd Hellboy film. And also like Dredd, the film’s main star has also been supportive of that idea. However, while promoting Season 2 of Hand of God, the actor gave some not so positive comments about the film happening:
Meanwhile, having mounted a personal campaign to get “Hellboy 3” made, Perlman admitted that it “probably will never happen, though you never say never never.”
While it doesn’t mean that we’ll never see another Hellboy film (look how long it took to get a Blade Runner sequel) it may be a while.
