Work has quickly accelerated on a new Hellraiser sequel titled Hellraiser: Judgement. And, thanks to Bloody-Disgusting, we have an idea of who to expect in the new movie.
For starters, Paul T. Taylor has been announced to be the new Pinhead, taking the role over from Doug Bradley who refused to star.
Gary Tunnicliffe called Taylor “a classically trained stage and film actor who brings a great physical presence and more than a hint of Peter Cushing and Ralph Fiennes.”
Here he is:
The film will also feature three detectives played by actors Damon Carney, Randy Wayne, and Alexandra Harris. John Gulagher will play The Assessor who judges his victims based on their sins. Mike Jay Regan will play Chatterer, a character he’s played several times before in other Hellraiser installments. Diane Goldner and Andi Powers are also playing female Cenobites in the new film. Grace Montie plays Crystal Lanning, “a beautiful socialite who is never far from her beloved little dog, ‘Baby’.”
The film also has Heather Langenkamp from A Nightmare on Elm Street in a small role.
The movie seems to be shaping up nicely, and despite not having Doug Bradley as Pinhead, looks like it could very well do justice to the world of Hellraiser.
