Ryan Reynolds Reveals Whether Or Not He’d Play GREEN LANTERN Again

It’s not hard for anyone to admit that Ryan Reynolds has more than done his fair share of comic book movies, though it’s also to be said, most won’t be revisiting Blade: Trinity, X-Men Origins, Green Lantern or RIPD anytime soon. But I don’t hold Reynolds accountable either; I’ve always rooted for the Vancouver born actor and really hoped his Green Lantern outing would be his crowning glory.  Yeah anyway moving on…

But that’s just fine as it looks like Reynolds has found his true calling. When asked if he would return as Hal Jordan for another Green Lantern outing he said:

“I never want to play another comic book character again; Deadpool, I would like to play for the rest of my life – that’d be fun,”

It seems 5 is the lucky number for Mr. Reynolds as we are in no doubt that a damn good time awaits us next weekend when the Merc with a Mouth finally opens!

Deadpool opens February 10th in the UK and February 12th in the US, just in time for the squishy weekend that is Valentines.
