The first trailer for Don Cheadle’s debut feature length film, Miles Ahead, finally dropped and it’s as cool as the person it’s based on. Miles Ahead tells the story of the legendary jazz musician Miles Davis. The trailer is filled with Davis’ infamous style music while scenes play out to the craziness that was Miles Davis’ life as he tries to keep his tight grasp on his recorded sessions. Guns are pointed, fired and punches are thrown but the most important part of the film is displaying the struggle that was Davis’ career to remain artistic with a social message, when everyone else wanted to just label his music as just “Jazz”.
