Back in December Frank Miller made some comments in regards to his character, Elektra’s use in the second season of Marvel’s Daredevil. Well now, one of the show-runners has responded.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Doug Petrie, when asked about Millers comments explained:
“God bless him, it’s his prerogative.”
He then revealed that there are no hard feelings.
“I’m a huge fan of what he did, so the [criticism] doesn’t go both ways. I wouldn’t say, ‘What does Frank Miller know?’ I’m so inspired by him and what he achieved and I’m trying to take it further and enrich her. She’s an empowered woman with her own agency, she’s nobody’s victim.”
It’s good to see that he didn’t take the comments to heart. We’ll see more of the character when the show is released March 25th.
