Spoilers. They really piss people off. Sometimes it happens on accident, but trolls are out in full force trying to ruin the latest Star Wars film for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet.
A Montana student has been charged with threatening to shoot a Facebook friend for spoiling a critical part of the upcoming film in an online conversation. He was charged with felony assault with a weapon during court on Monday and his bail was set at $10,000.
The student, Arthur Charles Roy, 18, allegedly became very angry when he learned the details and sent a picture of himself with a gun saying that he was going to come to the victim’s school to shoot him.
Roy’s school was actually locked down when students said that they were afraid that he might follow through with the threat and he was arrested soon after.
I’m not defending Roy’s actions in any type of way but for people who are spoiling the film for those who haven’t seen it – it’s not a clever way of trolling, it’s just annoying.
