Next year will see the arrival of Assassin’s Creed, the film based on the video game franchise of the same name. We know that Michael Fassbender we playing the lead role, but we now know what role co-star Jeremy Irons will be playing.
The film’s Facebook and Twitter page was updated today with a new logo for the film as well as a new image of a business card belonging to the CEO of Abstergo Industries, Alan Rikkin.
Check it out below:
The business card features two telephone numbers, which when called takes you to the voicemail of Alan Rikkin, with the voice on the other end being none other than Batman v Superman star, Jeremy Irons. When calling the line, you’ll hear this message:
“Hello, you’ve reached the voicemail of Alan Rikkin. I’ll be out of the office on business until March 25 with limited availability.”
In the games, Abstergo was a front for the Templars the sworn enemies of the Assassins guild, so based on this – it’s safe to assume that Irons will be playing a villain.
The film is due for release December 21st, 2016.
