It sounds like Battlestar Galactica actress, Katee Sackhoff is lobbying for another comic book role.
In an interview with Playboy, the actress, who had previously expressed interest playing Harley Quinn, was asked if she would be interested in the role of Spider-Man love interest/Occasional villain, Black Cat.
Her response? A very resounding yes:
“Oh, 100% I’d do that!” The actress revealed. “I love playing characters who are multilayered and multidimensional and have a darkness to them, which makes them more realistic and more fun to play.”
Interestingly this isn’t the first time that the actress has played a version of the role, with her providing the voice for the 2099 Black Cat in the 2011 game Spider-Man: Edge of Time.
Sounds like a match made in heaven, the only problem? Typically Felicia Hardy has been around the same age as Peter Parker. Something the 35 year old actress may struggle to pull off, given that in Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man is apparently only 15.
Marvel is pretty great at casting, though, so if they think Sackhoff would be good for the film, we’re confident they’d add her to the mix.
What do you think? Could she pull it off? Are there any other roles she could play? Let us know below!
