Empire magazines latest cover has been revealed and it gives us a great new look at Jared Leto’s take on the man who laughs.
In the previously released videos and images, we have yet to have a clear look at the outfit he will be sporting, but now thanks to Empire we have a glimpse into what that will be.
Have a look at the photos below:
As you can see, it’s quite far removed from previous incarnations, with him ditching the usual purple suit and instead opting for a long leather coat. It should also be noted that the pants have Arkham written across the leg. Could this be the outfit he sports when he first escapes from the asylum? One thing which could be a nod to the classic attire is the cane, something the character was quite fond of in the comics.
We’ll hopefully see more from Suicide Squad and the Joker in the months leading up to the film’s release in August 2016.
It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?
What do you think? Is this a good look? Or would you have preferred the classic look? Let us know below!
