Those of you who were left disappointed by the light tone of Thor: The Dark World will be relieved to hear that the film may not be heading down the same path.
Dave Faraci of Birth.Movies.Death has reported that Taika Waititi, director of ‘What we do in the shadows’ was actually brought on board to The God of Thunders third outing in attempt to balance out the grimness of the script and bring it tonally a little closer to what Marvel fans have come to expect – with the Christopher Yost, script being described as having a ‘Post-apocalyptic vibe’. Not exactly the tone of the previous two films…
He also comments on the joblo.com scoop that The Hulk with be joining Thor on this outing, with the two taking part in a ‘Cosmic road trip’. Sounds like an interesting concept, but what makes it more interesting is the rumour that on this road trip they will run into a group of Valkyries, which also includes the superheroine of the same name. Whether this will also introduce Valkyrie and Thor’s longtime nemesis The Enchantress isn’t sure. But Faraci is sure that Marvel thinks they’re going to cast some great women in this movie.
