    Why Loki Was Cut From Avengers: Age of Ultron

    As we already know, Loki wasn’t in Age of Ultron. There was a time when he was spotted on set, which turned out to be nothing. Or did it? Apparently, according to Tom Hiddleston, he was supposed to have a role:


    “I was part of the dream sequence for Thor in the film. I shot for a day and enjoyed it very much,” Hiddleston explained to Digital Spy. “But in test screenings, audiences had over-emphasized Loki’s role; they thought that Loki was controlling Ultron. It was imbalancing audience’s expectations.”

    So there you have it. Loki was cut from the movie so that his character wouldn’t confuse audiences. Personally, I think the dream sequence would have been cool. What do you think?
