Today, another addition to a movie franchise was announced. Myriad Pictures will be bringing Jeepers Creepers 3 to theaters with Francis Ford Coppola producing and Victor Salva directing.
Fans looking to gather some insight into the Creeper’s origin will be interested in the 3rd installment:
“Writing and directing a new Jeepers film, the first in over a decade, is incredibly exciting. For me and I believe for Jeepers fans all over the world that have been asking for more,” Salva said. “What will go before cameras as Jeepers Creepers 3 is a new and terrifying chapter from the Jeepers universe. We are bringing back the Creeper’s truck, and will be addressing the big questions about The Creeper: what it is, where it came from and why it does what it does.”

Sounds like this one could actually be unique – and not as pointless as the other sequels/reboots/remakes have been. Although, I’m not sure I’ve heard many people clamoring for this one, horror films like this one have giant followings. Either way, the film is scheduled to go into production in 2016.
