According to Latino Review, Jason Statham is set to play Bullseye on Season 2 of Marvel’s Daredevil. Here’s what the report said:
According to a trusted source at Marvel’s new TV production offices, Jason Statham – star of The Transporter film franchise, this year’s Furious 7, and this summer’s action comedy Spy – is being pursued to play Bullseye in season 2 of Marvel’s Daredevil Netflix series. It is not yet confirmed as reps would not give me a call back.
Per the Marvel Database:
A mercenary of mystery, nothing was really known about the man called Bullseye. Once, he was captured and interrogated in a highly secure U.S. prison, and he related many details about his early life, such as the time his brother set fire to their home in an attempt to kill their father. However, much of this information is suspect, as Bullseye then escaped, taunting his interrogators that much of what he said was false — especially the fact that it was not his brother who set fire to the house, it was himself. Bullseye proceeded to set fire to the prison, where his father was also held, and he left his father to die once more. (In a previous account of his childhood, he painted a bulls-eye on the forehead of his abusive father when he was passed out from drinking and shot him).
Marvel’s Daredevil synopsis: As a child Matt Murdock was blinded by a chemical spill in a freak accident. … Now he uses these powers to deliver justice, not only as a lawyer in his own law firm, but also as vigilante at night, stalking the streets of Hell’s Kitchen as Daredevil, the man without fear.
