The Venom franchise’s next installment, Venom: The Last Dance, has officially wrapped filming. However, there’s a lot of information left to be revealed about the third Venom film. Fortunately, a Venom 3 set photo seems to have revealed the movie’s villain straight out of the Marvel comic books.
As you can see below, the Venom 3 set photo isn’t exactly the most revealing image. However, with some comic book knowledge, it doesn’t take much effort to assume what character it’s alluding to. And, if true, it could be an exciting new chapter for Tom Hardy‘s Venom and another fan-favorite villain for him to go up against.
The image shared features a stunt team’s crew gift. The logo, with spells out the word “Venom” with a “3” in place of the “e,” features the “3” in green color. It’s a specific shade of green that brings to mind a very familiar villain for fans of the comics.

The villain that fans believe the green stands for is none other than Lasher. Fans will recall Lasher’s first appearance in the comic book issue Venom: Lethal Protector #4 from 1993. The character is one of Venom’s offspring, having been created by the Life Foundation as they attempted to create their own symbiote.

The character’s human host is Ramon Hernandez. He’s a mercenary that, along with four other characters, makes up part of a team of symbiote-hosting users that try to protect the Life Foundation. Other such characters that we could see, then, include Scream, Agony, and Phage. Of course, none of that including the participation of Lasher has been confirmed. But given the green color of the “3” – it certainly seems likely that at least Lasher could appear in the film.
Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates regarding Venom 3, aka Venom: The Last Dance, as we have them. For now, it would certainly be exciting to see Lasher on the big screen if that is what the green color means – so we’ll have to see what happens.
