Zack Snyder seems to already be going through DC’s ‘Greatest Hits’ on social media.
The director recently shared an image of Henry Cavill’s first costume test for Man of Steel, and the resulting picture, albeit light on detail, is certainly very interesting.
Oh…wait…that’s not right.
There we go, that’s better.
As you can see there’s not much to see or say about the image. But I do find Zack Snyder’s strong internet presence as a director quite interesting. Perhaps this relatively close connection is why his fans can be quite staunch defenders of his work, especially against more distant critics.
In any case, it certainly does show the director’s self-made hype machine working itself. Because while most other directors share the occasional image of what they’re working on, Snyder seems to be quite regular at delivering the latest on ‘Justice League’.
I do find it interesting just how much has been revealed of ‘Justice League’ despite its release date being extremely late in 2017.
Just for context, at the time of writing this article, more has been shown of Justice League than; Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok and Star Wars: Episode VIII combined!
When you put it like that, it does seem a bit excessive.
